While at college, it is not uncommon for students to experience homesickness, missing their pets as well as their families. This absence can be difficult to fill, given there are less opportunities to interact with pets on a college campus than people.
The Burn Reignites Students Lives with a Time of Worship
Entering an environment where you must maintain your faith on your own is a struggle for many college students. One opportunity for George Fox University (GFU) students to praise the Lord is at an event known as The Burn. This year's fall semester Burn fell between the hours of 6 p.m. on Nov. 21 and 6 a.m. on Nov. 22.

According to the Pew Research Center, many registered voters report healthcare as being “very important” to how they cast their ballot. People value their well-being and feel frustrated when it seems inaccessible due to cost, location, legalities and complications. A component of George Fox University’s (GFU) Health and Counseling Services is TimelyCare, which eliminates at least two of these barriers.

George Fox University (GFU) has a lot in common with other universities: comparable semester lengths, food services and a typical resident hall and apartment setup. Where GFU differs is in its holiday and break schedule.
